eClinicalWorks Welcomed to NPSF Patient Safety Coalition

Boston, MA -The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), a voice for patient safety since 1997, recently announced it has welcomed eClinicalWorks as the newest member of the NPSF Patient Safety Coalition.

The NPSF Patient Safety Coalition is a growing community of stakeholders from across the continuum of care aligned in the mission to make health care safer for all.
eClinicalWorks, based in Westborough, Massachusetts, specializes in healthcare software designed to link physician practices to other medical services, such as pharmacies, clinical laboratories and the medical supply chain. More than 115,000 physicians use eClinicalWorks products nationwide.

“Our work and products are very focused on building bridges to improve healthcare, and that certainly includes advancing patient safety and promoting greater efficiencies,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “In joining the Patient Safety Coalition, we look forward to sharing our expertise and learning from the Foundation and other members.”

eClinicalWorks joins myriad others in the Coalition, including other solutions providers working to address patient safety challenges, professional associations, advocacy organizations and others similarly committed.

“One of the NPSF Patient Safety Coalition’s goals is to bring together innovators like eClinicalWorks to share their experiences and insights,” said Tejal K. Gandhi, MD, MPH, CPPS, president and CEO of NPSF. “As NPSF advocates for greater focus and attention on safety across the continuum of care, it is critical that we learn from stakeholders like eClinicalWorks.”

Members of the NPSF Patient Safety Coalition gain valuable opportunities for networking, learning, and knowledge-sharing through quarterly webinars, an annual member meeting, special projects and events, and other high-value activities.
